Great post guys! Loved the wedding ring analogy at the beginning. We actually didn’t invest much into our rings…mostly because we were really poor when we got married lol, but also because to me, rings are just jewelry, and you can get jewelry anytime…but you can’t have your wedding photos redone!

Okay, first of all, that ring shot? SENSATIONAL!! Second, you guys are amazing. This whole post is so eloquently put, it’s just brilliant. I think you hit some excellent points that need to be mentioned. A lot of people think wedding photographers just get to show up and party, but there’s SO much more to it than that and you did a wonderful job of explaining it all!! Kudos friends!!

I have a general idea of what my son and daughter-in-law paid you for your services. I thought they were a little crazy. Now that we have all the images, I think it was one of the wisest investments they could have made. The bride just told me when she looks through the pictures, she feels like she is back at that day. What a gift! My friends and relatives who couldn’t be there say, “Looking at all those pictures, I feel like I attended. Thank you so much for showing them to me!” There have been many gasps, oohs, and aahs as I shared the photographs.

I thought it would be just another wedding, special to me because of who was getting married. It wasn’t. It was a life-changing, life-affirming event. To have it all documented will give so much pleasure to so many people in the years to come as they remember how great that day was.

So now I say they got a bargain. 3 photographers for 12 hours, plus the engagement session, plus the editing, plus everything else you mention above, plus the pleasure of working with true artists and professionals! They cut corners in a few other places that no one noticed, but this is one thing that they were wise to invest in
