William and Mary Alumni House Wedding
Emily and Jason met us last year at the Alumni House and they just felt we were the right match.
Their wedding centered on everything that brought them together there in the heart of Williamsburg, at the beautiful College of William and Mary.
As the day began, Emily’s family welcomed us into their home. There was no stress, no hustling… music was playing and Emily’s parents danced with each other in the living room.
There was such a wonderful, positive atmosphere – it’s no wonder you’re as sweet as you are, Emily.
Jason stayed with his best man just down the street. He and his groomsmen, three W & M alumni, formed their own W&M “fraternity” for the day.
Their traditional wedding in the historic Wren Chapel was just divine – there’s something about a bride and groom in that setting that takes our breath away.
The Wren Chapel is absolutely beautiful. On any other day, though, there is a certain gravitas that hangs in the air. The weight of the history there causes you to whisper as soon as you enter.
But that all changes at a wedding.
At Emily and Jason’s wedding, the only thing felt by everyone in the sanctuary was joy.
That was what we saw in their eyes at their portrait session, joy in its purest form.
The evening at the gorgeous William and Mary Alumni House was no different; they celebrated happily, joyfully into the night.
