Braden and Melanie found us through a mutual friend a few months ago. They’re getting married next year in ARIZONA!!! That’s right! These two lucky photographers are photographing a destination wedding for a gorgeous couple! And we’re so excited to be able to say we’re going to be photographing their special day!
Braden and Melanie share something in common with us. They’re currently in a long distance relationship. Braden is finishing his studies in California – Melanie is working in Northern Virginia. Their love is strong. These two are just crazy about each other. But finding just the perfect time for their engagement photos tooks some doing!
So when they finally had a date set aside for their engagement session in Carytown, a lovely little part of Richmond, VA, wouldn’t you know it… It rained.
Some people would have been disheartened. Not Braden and Melanie.
Luckily, these two weren’t even phased by the weather.
We photographed their engagement session anyway! And when it got too much, we stepped into the famous Carytown Cupcakes for a snack. The shopowners were kind enough to just let us keep shooting! We kept shooting until after dark… and then we totally introduced them to Galaxy Diner!
