Miko and Jonathan. She’s a US soldier-photographer from Okinawa; he’s a former Marine from Baltimore.

They’re deeply in love with each other and with their little pug, Patton.

They’ve been together three years, but it seems as if they’ve been best friends forever.

She knows just how to make him smile; he knows just how to make her laugh.

They’re getting married this year in the Blue Ridge Mountains at an apple orchard in October.

It will be a Jewish wedding ceremony with Japanese accents, deep in the heart of one of America’s most historic regions.

We’re not sure they realize just how much we are looking forward to their wedding…

They drove from Alexandria, we drove from Yorktown, and we met up with them in Richmond, at Libby Hill Park.

Thanks to the awesome red-head & photographer, (and our friend), Meagan Abell, who met up with us and assisted us on the shoot.
