We serve the areas of Richmond, Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, Yorktown, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Gloucester, Kilmarnock, White Stone, Irvington, other areas in Tidewater and Central Virginia. If you’re looking for a Richmond VA or Hampton Roads VA photographer, with us you get two! We’re also available for weddings in Charlottesville, Keswick, Staunton, Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Northern Virginia. We also serve the Eastern Shore and Washington DC for a small travel fee. We’re a full time husband-wife team who love each other, our three pets (two cats and a chihuahua), and we love telling other people’s love stories through images.
We shoot a mix of film and digital and photography is our full time profession. We’re insured members of the PPA.
Since moving to Virginia from Germany in 2012, we’ve built a successful, full time photography business based on simply loving our clients.

WE shoot a mixture of medium format film (not video, the old fashioned kind of film you develop!) and digital.

When we became wedding photographers, it was to connect with people and to learn how to tell their love stories through images. And that same business ethic continues after we take the photos too.
Don’t expect to wait weeks to see your images, and when you see them, don’t expect to pay hundreds of dollars for over-extravagant printing costs, either.
One thing that never interested us was charging huge markup prices for prints or making huge profits after the fact. We’re not print salespeople, we’re storytellers.
With the downloadable galleries we offer, you can choose to either download all of your edited images, or with a click of a button, you can order prints yourself, whether from your home computer or your mobile device. You can also SHARE your link with friends and family, where they can download their faves as well at NO EXTRA COST!

In an area where photographers undercut each other with super-low, unsustainable pricing, clients just like you have consistently chosen to invest in the quality of our work. Although we believe in the value of our work and it is an investment, our clients aren’t all doctors and lawyers (though some are!). Our clients include welders, nurses, soldiers, teachers, secretaries, and construction workers.
See, while we do have set rates, we also offer flexible payment plan options. We’d love to invite you out to view some sample albums and for a cup of coffee and then we can discuss which collection would be best for you!

It is important to us that on your wedding day, you don’t see us as “the hired help,” but as friends their to document your big day.
It helps you relax on camera and you feel more comfortable knowing how your photos will come out.
