A few months ago we went on our first photoshoot, with an actual client, with film. Just experimenting, we didn’t use too many rolls and photographed most of Yea-Wen’s bridal portraits with our 5Ds.

We were still trying to find a good place to develop these test shots. Let’s just say, our first choice was not the best one. Luckily we got the negatives back and sent them off again to Indie Film Lab.

For our first time on a shoot with film, we’re pleased! Especially since most of our metering was done in our heads 🙂

Yea-Wen was a gorgeous bride who asked us to meet her in Williamsburg to take the portraits she did not have time for at her wedding. With hair by Hair by Alice and makeup by Theresa Little Makeup Artistry, we took her portraits in the gardens around Williamsburg and the William & Mary Campus. Her gorgeous bouquet was her own DIY creation! 🙂
